Issue 13 unpacks one of today’s most urgent issues: borders. Real or imagined – they define and restrict; they create and exclude. GARAGE has always sought to transcend borders. GARAGE is about freedom, and about inclusiveness. If it’s imaginative, beautiful, thought-provoking, idiosyncratic, challenging, or just plain bizarre, it belongs in GARAGE.
